ALDICARB – TEMIK – TWO STEP – HALEPHIRIMI. How can I keep my dog safe?
The only way to guarantee your dog’s safety is to keep it indoors at night. In the morning, walk the dog through the garden on a leash to ‘sweep’ for poisoned bait.
If your dog shows interest in a specific spot take the dog back indoors and conduct a thorough search of the area for meat or other bait food, which can then be safely removed.
Activated charcoal may be helpful in the short-term if you believe that your pet has been poisoned, but is not a substitute for medical treatment from a vet.
Ensure that you know the contact numbers for emergency vets in your area, and if you suspect that your pet has been poisoned then get help as soon as possible.
