We strive to create a clean, safe, livable environment for the benefit of the entire Universitas community.
In order to achieve this, we need the support of the whole community. If we all team up and work together, it is achievable: Each person’s contribution is important and appreciated.

- Our registration as a NPC means that we can provide tax certificates to our contributors.
- Universitas Neighbourhood Association is a registered NPO & CIPC Reg No: 9401687428.
- Universitas West Neighbourhood Association (UWNA) was registered as a NPO with CIPC Reg No: 9401416721.
- Regular contributors will be recognized by means of a correx board that will be affixed to their fences/gates to demonstrate their commitment to UWNA
Both Universitas Neighbourhood Association (the entire Universitas) and Universitas West Neighbourhood Association are NPO and CIPC registered, by the Commissioner of Companies & Intellectual Property Commission (CPIC).
The three Directors of both Associations are: Chairperson Frikkie Eisenberg, Vice-Chairperson Zelda Theron and Treasurer Andries Fourie.
What this means is that we’re a non-profit organization (NPO) and the legal entity to service the residents of UNIVERSITAS and UNIVERSITAS West. Our registration as a NPC means that we can provide tax certificates to businesses that require such certificates to claim their contributions.
All contributions received are utilized to provide a number of services to the benefit of the community.
The purpose of UWNA is to create a pleasant, safe, clean and vibrant neighbourhood by fostering a strong sense of community. This common goal is achievable where everyone within the community take hands, work together, take pride in their property and the neighbourhood itself.
