WATER UPDATE PUBLIC NOTICE:
Planned Water Interruption
The planned water supply interruption that may affect parts of Mangaung due to Eskom’s scheduled maintenance at Welbedacht Dam.

Maintenance Period:

• 22 October 2025, for 12hrs starting from 06h00 to 18h00
• 29 October 2025, for 12hrs starting from 06h00 to 18h00

During this period, water supply may be intermittently affected as the electricity supply to key water infrastructure will be interrupted for maintenance purposes.

Dewetsdorp
Wepener
Phahameng
Phelindaba
Rocklands
Phases
Pellissier
Universitas
Fauna
Uitsig
Vista Park
Hamilton Industrial Area
Phase 4, 5, 6 and associated areas
Residents and businesses are encouraged to use water sparingly during this period and to store sufficient water in advance for essential use.
Vaal Central Water and the City of Mangaung apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate the community’s cooperation during this essential maintenance work.
