Project manager of newly elected UWNA team, came across two guys tearing black plastic bags today. They brought from somewhere else they say.

This happened in Bell Crecent. They were requested to put the rubbish back, in bags provided. A firm warning set them on their way. This might make them think twice next time. They left the area in squeaky clean condition.

Residents are requested to put out household waste in black plastic bags only on designated green zone / Universitas ridge & pink zones.

Areas where the homeowners property, is adjacent to medians, those owners are requested to put out black plastic bags on the pavement in front of their houses and not on the median.

Practical tip to homeowners: Medians are on the righthand side of the moving MMM truck. Workers only pick up bags on left hand side of the truck. Picking up bags on the median which is on the righthand side, force them to cross oncoming traffic which is dangerous. So they rather leave it. These are sometimes reason for street vendours to collect and litter from these bags.
